Carinthian noodles for KFOR
KFOR-Soldiers eat BRUNNER noodles. At the beginning of December 2008, the Austrian KFOR soldiers were supplied with “hand-crimped” Carinthian noodles from BRUNNER for the fifth time this year via the Steiermark wholesale business Eurogast Nussbaumer. Austria has 600 soldiers stationed in the southern part of Kosovo. Since 1999, the headquarters of the international Kosovo peacekeeping force KFOR has been in Pristina.
GAST 2008 in Salzburg
The international trade fair "Alles für den Gast" in Salzburg was a complete success. From Nov. 8th to 12th, 2008, the annual fair for the food service business was held in Salzburg. More than 10,000 Carinthian noodles were consumed. The breaded and fried varieties ( Empanadas ) were especially popular. Nearly 30% of the visitors at the BRUNNER stand were from Bavaria.
