The Kärntner Kasnudel is the popular classic among our Carinthian noodles. It is filled with finely pureed potatoes, quark, and fresh herbs. The Kasnudel gets its typical flavor from Austrian mint. Simply delightful!
Serving suggestions
Pour melted butter over 4 Kärntner Kasnudel. If desired, sprinkle finely chopped chives over them. Serve with green salad.
Arrange 2 Kärntner Kasnudel on a bed of finely chopped leeks for an unusual appetizer.
Preparation
Take the frozen noodles out of the bag and put them in boiling salted water. Allow them to boil about 8 minutes. Then remove and drain.
You can also brown the boiled noodles in a pan with some butter before serving.
